Who can take part

  • Aged 18 to 80 years
  • Have stage IV pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (pancreatic cancer that has spread) and tumors can be measured on scans
  • Have not had any prior chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery
  • You must be expected to live more than 6 months
  • You need to be medically able to receive chemotherapy (blood counts, liver/kidney tests, and an ECG within limits)
  • You must be able to safely undergo an ultrasound-guided procedure to place the iodine seeds
