Who can take part

  • You are an adult age 35 or older.
  • You have calcific aortic valve disease with mild-to-moderate narrowing on an ultrasound (echo) test.
  • Your heart CT within the last month shows aortic valve calcium score of at least 200 (Agatston units).
  • You can have a cardiac CT scan and agree to follow the study plan.
  • Your heart pumping function (left ventricular ejection fraction) is 50% or higher.
  • You do NOT have moderate/severe mitral or tricuspid valve disease, and you have no certain prior serious conditions (like prior aortic valve surgery or past pancreatitis or cancer).
