It may help personalize decisions, including what to do before surgery.

Who can take part
- You are a woman age 18 or older
- You have early breast cancer in one breast (not spread to other parts), and it is ER-positive and/or PR-positive and HER2-negative
- There is no sign of lymph-node spread on exam and ultrasound (cN0)
- You have a tumor sample from a core biopsy with a Ki-67 result available
- You are not able to use chemotherapy before surgery, and you plan surgery in Tuebingen or Freiburg
- You can start pre-surgery hormone treatment (tamoxifen, an aromatase inhibitor, or goserelin) for 2–4 weeks, or receive no hormone treatment for that time
