Efzofitimod for early systemic sclerosis lung scarring

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with systemic sclerosis (SSc) using the standard 2013 criteria
  • Your systemic sclerosis started less than 84 months ago (from your first non-Raynaud symptom)
  • Recent chest CT scan shows SSc-related interstitial lung disease with more than 10% lung involvement
  • At screening, your condition fits limited or diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis
  • You are taking a mycophenolate medicine (like MMF) at a sufficient dose and duration, or you can’t tolerate it but can take the best tolerated alternative immunosuppressant
  • Your breathing tests show enough lung function (FVC must be >45% predicted, and DLco >30% predicted), and your FEV1/FVC ratio must be at least 0.7
