Multisensory training for stroke-related side vision loss

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • Your doctor confirmed you have stroke-related homonymous hemianopia, and it was checked with a Humphrey vision test
  • Your side vision loss has been present for at least 6 months (for the first part of the study) or less than 1 month (for the second part)
  • You can speak and understand English well enough for study instructions
  • You can attend all required visits and training (including a 12-month follow-up), or have reliable transportation (or study-provided rides)
  • You don’t have major conditions that would affect thinking, vision, or ability to follow instructions
