Multisensory therapy for vision loss after brain injury

This study tests whether combining sounds with visual tasks can help people with vision loss caused by brain damage (stroke or tumor surgery). If you have stable vision loss on one side and can hear and follow instructions, this program may help retrain your brain to see better.

Who can take part

  • You have vision loss on one side (right or left) that has been stable for at least 4 weeks.
  • Your vision loss is caused by damage to the visual part of the brain (not the eye).
  • You can hear normally or with correction (hearing aids) and can follow simple instructions.
  • You are willing to commit to a 3-month rehabilitation program.
  • You are able to see objects on your good side without problems.
