Who can take part
- You had your first stroke at least 2 months ago, and your hospital stay was no more than 6 months
- A neurologist has confirmed your stroke diagnosis using a brain CT scan
- You can walk with or without the splint and can follow instructions (can communicate clearly)
- You must be 18 to 70 years old
- Your walking ability is fairly good (FAC greater than 2) and leg muscle tightness is mild (MAS 2 or less)
- You must use the insole splint during therapy for at least 1 week before joining
