Who can take part

  • You have a stroke, incomplete spinal cord injury, or acquired brain injury.
  • You are being treated at the rehabilitation center of Ghent University Hospital, either as an inpatient or outpatient.
  • You can walk on your own for at least 6 minutes without needing someone to help you (like using a walker, but no person).
  • You do not have a severe leg injury that affects walking.
  • You weigh 120 kg (about 265 lbs) or less.
  • You do not have severe dizziness or heart/lung problems that require monitoring during exercise.
