Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 75 years old
- Your 24-hour blood pressure is typically 130–164 while not taking blood pressure medicine (or you were on just one medicine and were off it for a short wash-out period before screening)
- You are starting (or could need) blood pressure treatment based on standard European guidelines
- You take no blood pressure medicines or only one blood pressure medicine (not two or more recently)
- If you can become pregnant: you are not pregnant, not breastfeeding, and you can use reliable birth control or are not able to get pregnant
- You do NOT have certain heart/brain/kidney conditions (like prior heart attack, stroke, atrial fibrillation, severe heart failure, or eGFR below 50)
