Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 65 years old
- Have a BMI of 30–50, or BMI 27–29.9 with at least one weight-related problem (controlled high blood pressure, cholesterol problems, sleep apnea, or joint arthritis)
- You should not have obesity caused by certain hormone/brain conditions (endocrine or hypothalamic causes)
- You must not have diabetes that’s not controlled (HbA1c above 6.5%)
- You cannot have certain major health or safety issues (heart/stroke, liver/kidney disease, seizure history, serious psychiatric illness, glaucoma, or regular tobacco use)
