Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 65 years old
- Have had a brain bleed and a consciousness problem for more than 28 days
- Recent brain testing shows you meet criteria for a minimally conscious state (CRS-R/MCS)
- Have a signed informed consent (from you or your legal representative)
- Have no major other causes for the brain injury (for example, certain vessel problems, tumors, or carbon monoxide poisoning)
- Be medically stable and not at high risk for re-bleeding or needing a breathing machine
