Who can take part

  • You have windpipe narrowing that developed after a percutaneous tracheotomy
  • You are able and willing to give informed consent to join the study
  • You are not pregnant, and if you could become pregnant you agree to a pregnancy test (or you accept testing)
  • You did not have a surgical tracheotomy (the procedure must have been through the skin)
  • The narrowing does not involve the voice box area (larynx), above the first windpipe support ring
