Who can take part

  • You must have an airway disease diagnosed by a CT scan or a scope test (bronchoscopy).
  • You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
  • Your overall health must be good enough to be at a low to moderate surgical risk (ASA stage I to III).
  • You must sign a consent form agreeing to take part.
  • You cannot have serious heart problems, uncontrolled diabetes, active infections, bleeding disorders, or a history of another cancer.
  • You cannot have had previous surgery that changed the shape of your airway.
