Who can take part

  • You must have a certain body weight range (based on BMI).
  • You must be “metabolically healthy” or meet a specific set of blood-sugar and liver-fat criteria.
  • You must not have a history of diabetes.
  • You must not have liver disease (other than non-alcoholic fatty liver disease) or any serious illness.
  • You must not drink alcohol heavily each week.
  • You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
