Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must currently be in an intensive care unit (ICU).
- You have a new kidney problem (acute renal failure) with at least mild severity (KDIGO stage 1 or higher), and the cause is not thought to be a blockage.
- Your care team believes you are at risk of low blood pressure during dialysis (based on blood circulation signs, heart strain score, and/or elevated lactate).
- Your illness requires extra kidney support using intermittent hemodialysis (IHD).
