Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have end-stage renal disease (kidney failure).
  • You have been on regular dialysis for at least 3 months.
  • You do not have a major blockage in your carotid artery (the main artery in your neck).
  • You are not on blood pressure support drugs or have unstable blood pressure.
  • You do not have serious heart rhythm problems like atrial fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia.
