- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- Your stomach tumor is a GIST (or strongly suspected) and is confirmed as the primary stomach GIST after surgery
- You are able and willing to have laparoscopic resection (minimally invasive surgery) and give consent

- Your overall health is good enough for surgery (ECOG 0–2) and anesthesia risk is low to moderate (ASA 1–3)
