Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia

This study (RaDiCo-DCP) follows people who have a confirmed diagnosis of primary ciliary dyskinesia, a condition that can affect how your lungs clear mucus. The trial looks at long-term symptoms over time, which may help improve care planning and understanding of the condition.

Who can take part

  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) (for example Kartagener’s syndrome)
  • Your diagnosis is supported by specific lung cilia findings and/or a clear genetic mutation in a PCD gene
  • You can attend at least one follow-up visit each year
  • You do NOT have an unconfirmed (still being figured out) PCD diagnosis
  • You should not have another changing health problem that would make it hard to judge PCD symptoms
