AI video tool study for early stroke and TIA diagnosis

This study collects short video and clinical information from people being checked for stroke or a “mini-stroke” (TIA) soon after symptoms start, to help build an AI diagnostic tool. You may be contacted again for a follow-up visit within about 4 months.

Who can take part

  • You are being evaluated in the emergency department or admitted to the NICU at CHU de Nîmes for suspected stroke or TIA within 72 hours of the acute episode
  • You can return for a follow-up visit (or be seen again) within 4 months
  • You (or your legally trusted helper/relative) can give informed consent before any video is recorded
  • You can speak and read French
  • You are not pregnant, not breastfeeding, and not currently in pregnancy-related/postpartum status
