Who can take part
- Your low back pain lasts at least 6 months
- Your main pain is in the lower back (it may spread to a leg or up to the neck, but not be mainly elsewhere)
- Your pain averages at least 3 out of 10 in the 24 hours before your first visit
- You had medial branch blocks that were positive, suggesting facet joints are the pain source
- You can safely have MRI scans (no MRI contraindications)
- You have not had back surgery, recent steroid injections, or pregnancy plans during the study
