  • You are in the PICU and are being kept sedated.
  • You are also on a breathing machine (ventilator).
  • The research team can place a sensor on the skin without problems.
  • There are no skin lesions where the sensor would be attached.
  • There are no significant injuries/trauma in the area where the sensor would be placed.
