Who can take part

  • You need to be between 13 and 28 years old and have not had braces before.
  • You must have no untreated cavities or active gum disease.
  • No medical conditions that affect saliva, gums, jaw shape, or cause severe enamel problems.
  • You cannot be pregnant or dependent on alcohol, nicotine, or psychoactive substances.
  • You must be willing to sign a consent form to join the study.
