Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with myelofibrosis (including after a blood disorder called polycythemia vera or essential thrombocythemia).
  • Your spleen is enlarged (at least 450 cm³ on an MRI or CT scan).
  • Your platelet count is 50,000 or higher (without a transfusion in the last 7 days).
  • You have not been treated with a JAK inhibitor (like ruxolitinib or fedratinib) before.
  • You are not eligible for a stem cell transplant (bone marrow transplant).
  • You have symptoms from myleofibrosis that affect your daily life, like fever, night sweats, or bone pain.
