Who can take part
- You must be 18–80 years old
- You have been diagnosed with polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, or primary myelofibrosis (NOT the Philadelphia chromosome-positive type)
- You have at least one reason to need treatment: very high platelet count (>1,500), high white blood cell count (>25), enlarged spleen with symptoms, or severe weight loss
- You cannot tolerate or refuse standard treatments like hydroxyurea or interferon
- Your kidneys, liver, heart, and blood clotting work well enough (confirmed by lab tests)
- You are able to attend study visits and follow instructions
