Who can take part
- Your breast cancer must be HER2-positive (a specific protein on the cancer cells).
- The cancer must have spread to no more than 5 separate spots, and not in a spread-out way.
- You must not have had any treatment for the spread (metastatic) cancer yet, except hormone therapy or radiation for cure.
- You must be able to do your daily activities without much help (WHO performance status 0 or 1).
- You must have a clear scan showing the cancer can be measured.
- If the cancer came back after treatment, there must be at least 24 months since you were cancer-free.
