Who can take part
- You are a woman aged 18 to 75 years.
- You have HER2-positive breast cancer that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery.
- You have already been treated with trastuzumab (Herceptin) and a taxane chemotherapy, or your cancer came back within 12 months after finishing such treatment.
- Your cancer has gotten worse despite your last treatment.
- You are physically active and able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
