Exercise for cirrhosis patients

Who can take part

  • You are between 21 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with cirrhosis (scarring of the liver).
  • You have not had any alcohol or recreational drugs for at least 6 months.
  • You do not have diabetes, active infections, or other serious health problems like heart or lung disease.
  • You are not taking blood thinners or steroids.
  • You are able to safely exercise (as determined by a stress test).
