Who can take part
- You have a diagnosis of cirrhosis confirmed by biopsy and/or a mix of clinical findings, blood tests, and imaging scan results
- Your liver severity score (Child-Pugh) is between A5 and B7
- If you are in the control group, your blood tests (ALT and AST) are in the normal range
- You do not have diabetes
- You do not have cancer or kidney failure
