Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma, or HCC).
  • Your cancer has spread into the portal vein branch (called PVTT) but only to a limited extent (Type I or II).
  • Your liver function is good (Child-Pugh class A).
  • You are physically active and able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You have not had any previous systemic (whole-body) treatment for liver cancer.
