Who can take part

  • Your child must have a severe congenital heart defect (CHD).
  • Your child must have needed a heart operation (like using a heart-lung machine) or a catheter procedure within the first 6 weeks of life.
  • Your child should not have a simple heart defect that was fixed with a simple procedure (like closing a small hole).
