Who can take part

  • You are eligible for a standard Watchman device implant as determined by your doctor.
  • You are not currently taking part in another clinical trial.
  • You can have a transesophageal echocardiogram (ultrasound probe in the throat) if needed during the procedure.
  • You are not having a separate heart ablation procedure at the same time.
  • You have not had a prior left atrial appendage closure or ligation procedure.
  • You do not have a closure device for a hole in the heart (PFO or ASD) that would make the implant difficult.
