Who can take part
- Your pancreatic cancer is confirmed by biopsy or other tests and is locally advanced (has not spread far).
- You have had at least one round of chemotherapy, or your doctor says you cannot have more chemo, and your tumor is still not removable by surgery (or you choose not to have surgery).
- The tumor must be measurable on a CT or MRI scan and no larger than 5 cm.
- You must be 18 or older, able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0-2), and have a life expectancy of more than 6 months.
- Your blood counts and kidney/liver function must meet minimum levels (your doctor will check these).
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding and must use effective birth control for 3 months after treatment.
