Who can take part
- Men aged 18 or older
- Low-risk or favorable intermediate-risk prostate cancer (PSA under 20, Gleason 6 or 3+4, and tumor stage T1-T2c)
- Prostate gland smaller than 60 cubic centimeters (with or without hormone therapy to shrink it)
- Urinary symptoms score under 15 without taking medicines for it
- No prior prostate cancer treatment or pelvic radiation
- No active inflammatory bowel disease, chronic immune suppression, or hip replacement
