Who can take part
- You have prostate cancer confirmed by a biopsy (prostate adenocarcinoma).
- Your cancer is low risk or favorable intermediate risk based on stage, PSA level, and grade group.
- You are not taking or planning hormone therapy that lowers testosterone (androgen deprivation therapy).
- You have not had prior radiation to the pelvis.
- You can have an MRI scan (no MRI-safe safety issues).
- You do not have certain blockers/problems: large prostate, problems with bleeding, immunosuppressing medicines, inflammatory bowel disease, dual hip replacements, or blood thinners that can’t be safely paused for seed placement.
