Who can take part
- You have an ICD to prevent sudden cardiac arrest (either as a first-time prevention or after a previous cardiac arrest).
- You have received at least one shock from your ICD in the past week (whether it was appropriate or not).
- You are able to read, speak, and write in English.
- You have access to the internet and a phone for the duration of the study.
- You do not currently have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder.
- You are 18 years or older and do not have significant memory or thinking problems (as assessed by a short test).
