Who can take part
- You must have had a sudden onset of a neurologic symptom (like weakness, trouble speaking, or vision loss) that started within the last 24 hours.
- The symptom must be significant enough to score at least 1 point on the NIH Stroke Scale, which is a standard test doctors use to measure stroke severity.
- You must know exactly when your symptoms began (within 24 hours before the CT scan).
- Your doctors must be able to complete all the necessary tests to fully evaluate your condition.
- A final diagnosis explaining your symptoms must be possible.
