Who can take part
- Adults ages 20 to 80 are eligible
- You may have a very weak heart (ejection fraction less than 35%) or be a healthy volunteer
- You must not have diabetes
- If you have high blood pressure, it must be well-controlled (systolic below 140 and diastolic below 90)
- You cannot take part if you have had a heart attack (unless you are in the heart failure group)
- You must be able to have an MRI scan
