Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have advanced heart failure (left ventricle ejection fraction less than 40%) caused by blocked arteries.
- You are scheduled for coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG).
- You must be able to have an MRI and PET scan (no metal implants or strong claustrophobia).
- If you are a woman able to have children, a negative pregnancy test is required on scan day.
