Who can take part

  • You have type 2 diabetes for at least 3 months.
  • Your average blood sugar (HbA1c) is between 7.7% and 11.0% at screening.
  • You have a body mass index (BMI) between 25 and 40.
  • You have a certain level of inflammation (hsCRP 1.5 mg/L or higher).
  • You have not had a heart attack or heart surgery.
