Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have early-stage (Stage IA) lung cancer that is in the outer part of the lung (peripheral) and has been confirmed by a biopsy.
- You cannot have surgery or have decided not to have surgery, and you are willing to have ablation (a procedure that destroys cancer cells with heat or cold).
- You are not on blood thinners (unless you can stop them safely for 5–7 days), and you do not have severe bleeding problems.
- You do not have severe lung scarring, active infections, or other serious health conditions that would make the procedure unsafe.
