Combination therapy for jaw bone damage after radiation

Who can take part

  • You have exposed bone in your jaw (larger than a small coin) that started after radiation therapy.
  • You are able to undergo 60 sessions of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber).
  • You have not had any prior treatment for this bone damage, such as PENTOCLO, hyperbaric oxygen, or surgery.
  • You do not have any major health issues that would make the treatments unsafe, like uncontrolled high blood pressure or epilepsy.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking blood-thinning medications.
  • You are at least 18 years old.
