Who can take part
- Your baby must be born before 30 weeks of pregnancy, or have a condition called congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH).
- Your baby must be born at Amalia Children's Hospital or be admitted there within the first day of life.
- Your baby must not have had severe oxygen deprivation at birth (low Apgar score and pH).
- Your baby must not have major birth defects other than CDH, or a metabolic disease needing a special diet.
