Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 70 years old.
  • You have a BMI between 18 and 25 (lean) or 30 and 38 (overweight/obese).
  • Your fasting insulin is either below 9 (if lean or overweight without insulin resistance) or above 9 (if overweight with insulin resistance).
  • Your fasting glucose is below 6.1 mmol/L (not pre-diabetic or diabetic).
  • You are weight-stable (no more than 5 kg change in the last 3 months).
  • You speak Swedish fluently and can follow instructions.
