Who can take part

  • You have had a heart attack (myocardial infarction) but your heart arteries were not significantly blocked (less than 50% narrowing).
  • You had symptoms like chest pain, ECG changes, and elevated blood tests for heart damage.
  • You had an echocardiogram showing abnormal movement of the heart wall.
  • You do not have other serious conditions like a blood clot in the lungs, stroke, severe infection, or acute respiratory distress.
  • You do not have a heart muscle disease not caused by blocked arteries (non-ischemic cardiomyopathy).
