Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You do not have diabetes (no history of diabetes, your average blood sugar over 3 months is below 6.5%, and your fasting blood sugar is below 126 mg/dL).
  • You have been diagnosed with heart artery disease by a special X-ray called coronary angiography.
  • You have not had any previous heart procedures like stents or bypass surgery.
  • You do not have severe liver or kidney problems.
  • You are not currently taking medicines to lower your triglycerides.
