Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older when your heart stops outside a hospital.
  • Emergency services from Hsinchu County Fire Department must be caring for you.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • Your cardiac arrest is not from an injury or accident.
  • You do not have a pulse return on scene, and you are not clearly dead (e.g., decomposition, severe burns).
  • Your family does not refuse transport, and an advanced airway is placed during treatment.
