Who can take part

  • You must be able to complete thinking and memory tests in French.
  • For people with suspected dementia: you need a diagnosis of dementia with Lewy bodies or Alzheimer's disease based on standard criteria and spinal fluid markers.
  • For healthy volunteers: you need normal memory tests, a normal brain MRI, and a recent score of 28 or higher on the Mini-Mental State Exam.
  • You cannot have any metal or other reason that prevents an MRI scan.
  • You cannot have another brain or psychiatric condition (like stroke, major depression, alcoholism) that could explain your memory problems.
  • You must be medically stable with no uncontrolled illness that could affect your thinking.
