Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have stable chest pain or a known chronic coronary condition
  • You have not taken any P2Y12-inhibitor blood thinners (like clopidogrel, prasugrel, or ticagrelor) in the past
  • You are scheduled for a routine stent procedure for a moderate narrowing in a main heart artery
  • The narrowing is not severe (more than 90% blocked) and you do not have heart failure with very weak pumping function
