Who can take part
- You must have a diagnosis of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) that is confirmed by biopsy or accepted medical criteria.
- You must be 18 or older and fully active (ECOG 0), meaning you can do all your usual activities without restriction.
- Your liver cancer must be intermediate stage (BCLC stage B) and not suitable for surgery or local treatments, and the tumor burden is beyond the 'up-to-seven' criteria (tumor size plus number of tumors is more than 7).
- You must not have had any prior systemic treatment or artery-directed therapy for your liver cancer.
- You must have good liver function (Child-Pugh A), no history of esophageal varices or active ulcers, and no significant bleeding risk.
