Who can take part

  • You are 60 years or older.
  • You have 1 to 3 broken bones in your spine (between T5 and L5) due to osteoporosis, not cancer.
  • The fracture happened within the last 4 months and is causing severe back pain (at least 7 on a 0–10 pain scale).
  • You have not gotten enough relief from non-surgical treatments like rest or pain medication.
  • You are healthy enough to undergo spine surgery and can attend follow-up visits for at least a year.
